The time spent in a retreat is a drawing back into yourself, and a seclusion away from whatever responsibilities inhabit your life, allowing you the privacy and quiet to find what you’ve forgotten or lost in the daily distractions.

Found Words • Found Wisdom
An At-Home Writing Retreat
The Found Words • Found Wisdom writing workshop focuses on creating a personal ease around writing, along with a mindfulness of writing’s innate power to bring about insight and personal wisdom. Incorporating personal stories, examples of prose and poetry, and supporting exercises, you are guided through different aspects of writing that provide an accessible and informed structure from which you can then further explore the art and craft of writing.
This workshop is suitable for people just beginning to nurture an inner urge to write, and for writers looking for inspiration to revive a shelved manuscript or writing practice.
The entire workshop takes approximately eight hours to complete and is divided into four sections. Past participants have found that completing each section within 3-7 days of each other keeps the creative flow intact.
